"the project addresses complex economic, political and social realities facing the modern Nigerian man. Presented through masking and the conventions of portraiture, the project explores the idea that people have an exaggerated and misleading idea of freedom - a "freedom" they know nothing about. The photo series presents freedom in its rawest form, developing on the notion and reality of freedom with respect to the average Nigerian male."
The photo series will be released in full in early 2010, you can have a look at a few more unseen images at www.interplanetarians.com
